• Corporate Setting Up and Incorporation. Assisted in the setting up and incorporation of domestic stock corporations with more than one stockholder particularly closed stock corporations.
• Taxation Cases. Actively involved in the handling of tax controversies, including the initiation and prosecution of appeals of tax assessments before the Court of Tax Appeals. This includes the evaluation of assessment notices, identification of procedural and substantive issues, preparation and filing of Petitions for Review, and assistance in the drafting of pleadings and supporting legal memoranda.
• Labor and Employment Law. Represented clients in labor cases before quasi-judicial bodies including the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and appeal memoranda; participated in settlement negotiations, advocating for clients’ interests while facilitating efficient and practical dispute resolution; and rendered legal opinions for clients intending to hire foreign employees in the Philippines on their compliance with Philippine labor and immigration laws.
